Thank you for all your positive comments and contributions to the web site.   It is still early days, and the web site will only be useful if it is updated regularly with event dates, photos and so on, for which I need your continuing help.  Please feel free to add any comments either to the blog, or by e-mailing me.

I liked looking at the photos of the Church Spring Clean. It was fun to see all my village friends working together to keep our church looking beautiful. I was sad that I couldn't help but I was taking part in a trampolining competition. PS Mummy would like to know the answer to this question. How tall is Trevor from the ground to his fingertips, including the pew? I guess the answer is 2m 70cm. Does anyone else want to have a guess before Trevor reveals the truth?!

Katie,
What a challenge - I would guess about 9ft 4 ins - can you change that into metres?
Would you and your Brownie friends be interested in putting something about Brownies activites on the web site?

Ailene,
we have worked it out and we think the answer is 2.85 metres. Olivia and I would like to put something about brownies on the village website. How do we do it?

I had no idea people were interested in my height!
Katie, in answer to your question, the top of the pew is 77 cm. Add this to my height would give you 2m 71cm to the top of my head.
BUT to the top of my fingertips at full stretch would be 3m 19cm

You were very close Katie. Trevor had been stretching, but not when the photo was taken. Well done. Thank you also for your page about the Brownies.

In that case Trevor, we can now use you to clean the east window without having to use the long ladder!!!
