Lunch@Weare

The next lunch is on Monday 13th September

 It was lovely to see so many people at the August lunch - just when we think numbers are reducing, we have a bumper crowd - hope you all enjoyed it, do come again!

A lunch is held on the second Monday each month, at Weare Village Hall.  This is an opportunity for friends and neighbours to meet over a simple lunch provided by a team of volunteers.  The cost is £3.50 per head for two courses and coffee/tea.  Come along and join us any time from 12.15 to 14.00.  Children welcome.

If you enjoyed the occasion, why not bring a friend next time.

They are only early photos - the photographer was enjoying his lunch too much to take more!!  Over 50 villagers and friends enjoyed a festive meal, with mulled wine and mince pies, and crackers with corny jokes to set the mood.  Thank you to everyone who helped the cooking team, too many to mention individually but you know who you are!
